Winter hike around the Scharspitze. Fairytale snow-covered forests, clear winter air, a wide view of the mountains - the magic of the cold season can be bests understood on a winter hike.
The hike begins on the parking lot in Zinnwald. Cross the B170 to get onto the K-aisle towards Geising. From here follow the signs for "Scharspitze". You reach the small refuge via a small path just before the summit. After a short rest, the tour takes you steeply down the Goldhahnweg to the Aschergraben. On the way down you can still check the old bobsled run. Display boards also remind of the facility at that time. When you arrive at the Aschergraben, keep to the left. Via the Schwarzwasserweg you reach the B170 again, which you cross to get to Bergstrasse. Keep to the left to get towards Sonnenhof. From here follow the signs to the Waldschänke "Altes Raupennest". The restaurant was opened in 1924 by the popular local poet and singer Max Nacke. Via the Raupennestweg you reach the Alten Zaunshäuser Weg, which you follow in the direction of Kahleberg. After 300m you will reach the Flemmingweg / Sandbachweg intersection. Before the bridge, turn left onto the small path. Follow this to parking lot in Zinnwald again.
