Ski/Snowboard

Ski beginners, advanced skiers and ski and snowboard professionals get their money's worth in the Geising - Altenberg ski arena. The ski slopes are predominantly of medium difficulty. In addition to a ski school, winter sports enthusiasts can also use a well-equipped ski rental station at the valley station of the drag lift. Ambitious skiers are drawn to the more demanding slope “Raupennesthang”, while children and beginners can make their turns in the practice area near the valley. A magic moving carpet  carries the little skiers up the mountain. For freestyle snowboarders is fun park there.  The good snow conditions in combination with the modern snow-making systems ensure daily good slope conditions in the winter season. With the help of a floodlight system, skiing on the slopes of the Altenberg - Geising ski area is possible until 22:00.

Nordic/Winter hiking

Snow tubing, the so-called tire sliding on the snow, is a special winter offer for non-skiers in the Altenberg - Geising ski arena. The snow tubing lift takes winter sports guests of all ages to the starting point of the snow tubing track at an altitude of 800 m . If you want to go sledging in the classic way, the natural toboggan runs next to the slopes of the Altenberg - Geising ski arena are the right choice for you. Numerous groomed trails and routes for cross-country skiing,  invite you to a sporty workout. In addition, designated winter hiking trails take nature lovers into a romantic winter landscape.
