Kids restaurantThe village of Rehefeld - Zaunhaus, with its ski area, is the center of alpine winter sports in the Saxony Eastern Ore Mountains and attracts numerous skiers and snowboarders as well as Nordic winter sports enthusiasts every winter. Due to its location, the Rehefeld - Zaunhaus ski area is relatively snow-sure and allows guests to enjoy various winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, skating, sledging and winter hiking in the winter season.
Ski/Snowboard
The only chair lift in the Saxony Ore Mountains is in the Rehefeld-Zaunhaus ski area. The most varied ski slopes are also located there. The predominantly easy and moderately difficult runs at the chairlift take skiers and snowboarders downhill through narrow forest aisles. The ski slopes at the drag lift, on the other hand, are a bit more open and spacious. Modern snow-making systems ensure good slope conditions even when there is not enough natural snow. And in the local ski school in the Rehefeld - Zaunhaus ski area, alpine winter sports guests can improve their ski and snowboard technique and test the latest equipment. Numerous refreshment stops in Rehefeld invite you to après-ski.Nordic/Winter hiking
Winter sports guests can try something very special in the Rehefeld-Zaunhaus ski area: on the snow tubing slope, brave visitors can quickly descend on special snow tubing tires. However, those who prefer “classic sledding” should test the 1,100 m long toboggan run on the Hemmschuh. Incidentally, this toboggan run is the longest natural toboggan run in the Ore Mountains. Another offer for non-skiers and snowboarders is a trip or a guided tour with a snowmobile over the ridge of the Ore Mountains. There are also various possibilities for cross-country skiing, skating and winter hiking on the groomed trails and designated winter hiking trails.Coordinates
