In the middle of the forest, this small bareness opens on the BIWAK-Kuppe summit. A summit of the "14 eight-thousanders in the Eastern Ore Mountains" tour - the Himalayas in the Eastern Ore Mountains! Height: 828 meters
The Biwak-Kuppe had no name for a long time. But the MDR program "BIWAK - Menschen.Berge.Abventure" then baptized the summit after its own name. The 828 m high elevation is somewhat hidden in the forest. When you find it, you can reward yourself with an entry in the summit book. On the BIWAK-Kuppe you will find also a stamp station that identifies the summit as a destination of the "14 eight-thousanders" tour. You can get all information about this tour in the Altenberg Tourist Information Office.
