Blockline Bike Route in the Ore Mountains
The 140 kilometres can be cycled in one go or split into three stages. The cycling adventure in the Ore Mountains begins.
Cyclists have a lot to discover on the trails. It is full of exciting riddles, fantastic stories and thrilling treasure hunt maps.
A unique experience awaits cyclists on a total of 140 kilometers: Three exciting loops invite young and old explorers to venture into the beautiful, untouched nature of the Eastern Ore Mountains.
Three loops full of liberty, desire and cycling adventure:
Loop 1: Altenberg-Hermsdorf, 53 km
Loop 2: Frauenstein-Blockhausen, 52 km
Loop 3: Sayda - Kurort Seifen, 66 km
In cooperation with Andreas Martin, Sauensäger Blockhausen and other local partners, the so-called milestones and landmarks were carved out of wood, which is a completely unique element and a hallmark of BLOCKLINE. Breathtaking wooden portals point the way to a land of impressive panoramas, unique rock formations, water bodies with lots of animals, lush mountain meadows and idyllic streams.
BLOCKLINE is especially fun with the accompanying starter kit, which includes an adventure route handbook, a neckerchief and lots of tips. There are several puzzles to solve along the route and exciting connections and stories to discover. The starter kits are available either online or at the Altenberg Tourist Information. The starter kit costs 29 EUR. The starter kit for each additional person in the team costs 13 EUR and includes all contents.
